Senior Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant position for a large, reputable corporation in the Richmond, VA area. This position will report to the Manager of Accounting & Reporting, work closely with a strong team, and will have lots of exposure to executive leadership. The company regularly promotes from within and has a great corporate culture and team oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities: Monthly closing including account reconciliations, journal entries, and various accruals Perform technical accounting research Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements Respond to internal and external inquiries Perform internal controls for assigned processes Design and prepare reports to meet various internal requirements Complete special projects as assigned, especially related to SAP enhancements Qualifications: BS Degree in Accounting 3+ years of relevant work experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ERP systems Manufacturing industry and international company experience are preferred Our client offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
