Specific Duties & Responsibilities Professionally and efficiently handle incoming requests frompatients and providers, and ensure that issues are resolved bothpromptly and thoroughly. Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas whichmay include, but not limited to scheduling, registration and carecoordination. Carries out duties and responsibilities with limitedsupervision. Makes decisions and establishes work priorities as needed. Responsible for completing regular tasks without repeatedinstructions. Provide support for medical matters on behalf ofphysicians. Other activity processed in EPIC, including but not limited tocoordinating clinic follow-up of high importance activities. Respond to ad hoc patient inquiries and requests in a timely,professional, and courteous manner, including communicatingrelevant information to and from the physician. Prepare to support clinic activities from home in case of JHUclosure. Provide coverage to the Division front desk and telephone linesas needed or assigned. Provide back-up support coverage for lunches, illness, andother time-off requests as needed or assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or graduation equivalent. Two years administrative experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of general medical terminology required. Additional education may substitute for one year of experienceto the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Epic experience.
