Material Handler Regular Full-Time Fort Dodge, IA, US 10 days ago Requisition ID: 1518 Overview: Must be able to efficiently pull parts for orders, ship and receive product, assist in inventory counts, move stock throughout the system, and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. Safely operate a forklift. Move throughout the warehouse to pull and pick orders. Climb ladder to store and pull product. Push product on cart throughout warehouse (while picking and/or shipping product) Utilize inventory count sheet to conduct daily inventory cycle counts. Optimize shelving capacity. Communicate with external providers. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system. Distribution: Assist in customer service or counter sales. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of work experience. Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations. Able to work independently and within a team environment. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer. Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality. Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications. Standing or Sitting for up to 4 hours at a time. Ability to push a cart throughout the warehouse while pulling orders or preparing shipping. Ability to use a ladder safely to store and/or pull product for orders.
