Environmental Sanitation Inspector Water & Wastewater

Job Purpose and Objectives Ensure enforcement of the Reno County Sanitation Code through the provision of education, inspection and technical assistance services. Conduct inspection of water wells, wastewater, water borne illness and sanitary complaints. Position Requirements and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the complete job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position Requirements B.S. degree in environmental related field preferred. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements pertinent to the position. Certifications / Licenses Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license. CPR training preferred. Maintain Registered Sanitarian CEU’s, as required. Participate in 2 Continuing Educational Opportunities annually in the area of onsite wastewater, wells, nuisance complaints and/or job specific training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
