Base pay range $48.00/hr - $50.00/hr Are you a patient-focused, energetic Registered Dental Hygienist looking to join a collaborative team? Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Excellence: Deliver thorough hygiene treatment, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, using gentle techniques. Administer local anesthetics and apply cavity‑preventive agents like fluorides and sealants as permitted by state law. Patient Advocacy & Education: Act as a primary educator, counseling patients on proper oral hygiene and nutrition, and helping to manage patient anxiety during treatment. Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate periodontal charts, medical histories, and treatment records. Securely manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies. Operatory & Inventory Management: Efficiently manage operatory duties, including room turnover, disinfection, sterilization of instruments, and daily preparation. Maintain hygiene supply inventory and submit orders. Requirements Licensure: Must be currently licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state, meeting all applicable state requirements. Education: Completion of at least two years of post‑secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program. Experience: Proven experience in providing prophylaxis and taking X‑rays is required. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal skills and good interpersonal skills to build effective rapport with patients, dentists, and coworkers.
