Salary: $20-$23/hr DOE

Spot Welders

We have a company in Roseville MN looking for spot welders to join their team.

Shifts:

1st- Mon-Thurs 5am-3:30pm, sometimes OT Fridays

2nd- Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-2am, sometimes OT Fridays

Use Spot Welding equipment; apply two shaped copper alloy electrodes to concentrate welding current into a small 'spot' and to simultaneously clamp the sheets together. Force a large current through the spot to melt the metal and form the weld.
Install proper electrodes on the spot-welding machine.
Adjusts control for proper heat, pressure settings, and timing of current.
Use the proper amount of heat to match the sheet's material properties, thickness, and type of electrodes.
Work from routings, prints, or instructions.
Inspect work using a micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.
Examines welded components for any defects.
Deliver the first piece to inspection for verification of dimensions and weld accuracy.
Responsible for producing the highest level of quality, utilizing control plans, customer drawings, and appropriate work instructions.
Supervising and identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the supervisors
