What You’ll Be Doing: Implementing system‑level test strategies for HAV platforms (HAPS, ZeBu), covering hardware, firmware, and infrastructure. Defining and executing test plans for new product introductions, feature releases, and customer‑specific configurations. Leading manufacturing validation of FPGA‑based prototyping systems, emulation platforms, board‑level hardware, high‑speed interconnects, and power systems. Managing test equipment deployment, including fixtures, stations, and accessories, and overseeing final assembly test for embedded firmware and low‑level software. Driving root cause analysis for complex system failures across HW/FW/SW boundaries and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Building, mentoring, and managing a high‑performing test engineering team, setting goals, and fostering a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement. Establishing scalable test methodologies, automation frameworks, and regression strategies for quality and efficiency. Partnering with R&D, hardware, firmware, quality, reliability management, and field operations to ensure test coverage and support customer escalations. Owning test schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation across multiple programs, communicating status and risks to senior leadership. Managing external test development and fixture suppliers, governing test release and change control, and integrating factory test automation with CM/EMS MES systems. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in hardware/system validation or test engineering. 3–5+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role. Strong background in FPGA‑based systems, emulation, or complex hardware platforms. Experience testing systems involving HW/FW/SW integration and debugging cross‑disciplinary system issues. Hands‑on understanding of FPGA architecture and tool flows, high‑speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SerDes), and embedded systems. Proficiency in Linux‑based development environments and automation frameworks. Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
