Senior Full Stack AI Developer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years in AWS serverless environments.
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora/RDS Proxy, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and TypeScript, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions or an equivalent.
• Strong Python backend skills, including SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, or comparable tools.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills; Next.js experience is preferred.
• Understanding of OpenAPI contract-first design, relational data modeling, and third-party or ERP integration patterns.
• Experience with Cognito or a similar identity provider, SAML/OIDC federation, role-based access control, and security practices such as IAM, VPC design, encryption, and audit logging.
• Hands-on experience with spec-driven, agentic software development. Kiro is preferred; equivalent agentic tools are also considered.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and specifications and correct issues at the requirements and specification level.
• Able to quickly adapt to an established process with extensive documentation and conventions.
• Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating in Agile teams.
• Helpful additional experience includes Amazon Bedrock, Textract, or other AWS AI/ML services; cdk-nag, Flyway, Lambda Powertools, MSW/Prism, or Playwright with axe; CMIC, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms; AWS Developer Associate or Solutions Architect certification; construction, insurance, or financial services; or Amazon QuickSight dashboards and data visualizations.

• Design, develop, and deliver a cloud-native application for an AI-powered modernization engagement.
• Contribute to requirements, architecture, and implementation specifications in the discovery repository, working spec-first within the AutoMod workflow and using Kiro tools.
• Closely review agent-generated code and specifications, providing precise, actionable feedback.
• Trace defects to their source in requirements or specifications, correct them there, and carry fixes through affected epics.
• Run work through automated gates, including route manifest, coverage, cdk-nag, and schema parity, and resolve findings through the formal review loop.
• Build a Python Lambda backend using Powertools, SQLAlchemy 2, Pydantic 2, and PyJWT, with API Gateway and a Cognito JWT authorizer.
• Develop a Next.js, React, and TypeScript frontend using Tailwind, shadcn/ui (Radix), TanStack Query, and Zustand.
• Develop against an OpenAPI contract using MSW/Prism mocks; test with Vitest and Playwright plus axe for end-to-end and accessibility checks.
• Design and maintain the Aurora PostgreSQL schema and Flyway migrations, DynamoDB state stores, and S3/EventBridge ingestion.
• Implement Cognito and Entra ID federation, plus capability-based RBAC for multi-party portal access.
• Integrate CMIC and Autodesk ERP APIs, SES-based subcontractor outreach, and Amazon Bedrock-powered document validation and exception workflows.
• Maintain AWS CDK infrastructure and GitHub Actions pipelines across four environments.
• Support integration testing and UAT, prepare training materials, and contribute to knowledge transfer and post-deployment operations guides.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, DevOps, and Data Engineering team members.
• Deliver a self-service subcontractor portal with real-time input validation and submission tracking, automated submission workflows with smart forms and document uploads, and risk and exception management dashboards with follow-up and approval workflows.
