About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care ICU hospital experience License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU hospital experience - ACLS, BLS & NIH certifications - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: Travel RN position available in an Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 16 beds and is supported by 60 staff members. There are 1 Charge RN and 8 RNs per shift, along with 1 Patient Care Technician. The patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients. Equipment used includes cardiac monitoring devices, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include intubations and central line placements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player. Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations is preferred. Previous experience with Meditech is a plus. This is a competitive opportunity that may include new equipment and technologies.
