Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:VitalsAllergy & medication reconciliationScreeningsPatient historyHealth maintenanceAdvance directivesVirtual healthSchedulingWork queues / WorklistsCheck in/check outReferralsIn-basketChart prepNon-clinical patient result callbacksPrior authorizationsTransportation facilitationConducts point of care testing including quality control & documentation including but not limited to:EKGHemoglobin A1CUrinalysisHemoglobin POCTUrine toxicityINRQualificationsEducation:Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic Certification OR relative experienceExperience:In lieu of education requirement, at least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered.We take great care of careers.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
