Contract Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 Weeks)

Shift: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week

Schedule may consist of either:
- Five 8-hour days (approx. 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Four 10-hour days (approx. 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Final schedule released 1-2 weeks in advance

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr

Assignment Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13-week long-term assignment to support a busy medical office. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and able to work both standard 8-hour and extended 10-hour shifts based on business needs.

Travel is a key component of this role -the candidate must have a reliable personal vehicle. While the primary office is located in Farmington, CT , frequent travel to Glastonbury, Hartford, Plainville, Avon, and Cheshire is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical support including patient intake, vital signs, and assisting with procedures
Navigate and document in Epic (if applicable)
Maintain high-quality patient care standards across multiple office locations
Support physicians and care teams in a fast-paced surgical or outpatient environment

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience (required)
Experience in a surgical office setting (preferred)
Familiarity with Epic EMR (preferred)
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
