Responsibilities Verify conformance of materials to specifications with squares, rulers and measuring tapes Align and fit parts according to specifications; positioning, aligning, fitting and tack welding parts to form complete assemblies or sub assemblies Study engineering drawings and prints to determine requirements and task sequences Set up and operate fabricating machines (such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses) to bend, cut, punch, drill or otherwise form and assemble metal components Layout and examine stock or materials to be processed Rigging and lifting materials and finished product GMAW/GTAW Welding Qualifications Qualifications Experience with GMAW and GTAW welding processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints Proficiency in using measuring tools (squares, rulers, tapes) Compensation From $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries: Shipbuilding #J-18808-Ljbffr
