JOB STATUS: All Applicants JOB TITLE: Head Softball Coach 2026.2027 Year LOCATION: Kuna High School SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director SALARY: Stipend Job Summary: The head coach is responsible for the organization and implementation of a successful program. Qualifications Preferred Coaching Experience Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of a varsity program Demonstrated ability to accomplish the major duties listed below Positive public relations skills Strongly encouraged to complete a coaching principles course Complete a First Aid Course with CPR component Complete concussion course Major Duties and Responsibilities Assist in coordinating the development and promotion of the program Promotes all athletes to participate in sports and activities throughout the school year. Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting practice sessions Adjust coaching techniques based on the ability of athletes Assist in arranging and conducting program-specific activities, such as summer training, skills improvement sessions, and pre-season try‑outs Instruct athletes in rules, game strategies, and performance principles Provide training, encouragement, and motivation to prepare athletes for competition Assist in generating additional funds for the support of the program through approved fundraisers Professionally communicate with the media Carefully operate under state, league, and school rules and regulations Understand rules and regulations and is in compliance with high school activities (See link: Discipline adjusts grievances and works to increase morale and cooperation Deal with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive, encouraging manner Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment Job Requirements Citizenship, residency or work visa required Position Type Position Type: Full-Time Contact Information Luke Wolf, Athletic Director Email: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical EducationVacancy posted 1 day ago
