Your Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted speech therapy, focusing on areas such as language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, caregivers, and physicians to devise integrated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce therapy progress beyond clinic visits.
• Support inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments when required, ensuring seamless care transitions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly, adhering to standards set by state, federal, and institution guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
