Position Summary: We’re on the hunt for a creative, hands‑on Build & Design Specialist who’s passionate about turning concepts into functional, market‑ready products. This is your chance to make an impact in a growing company where engineering meets imagination. What You’ll Do Design, build, and test new outdoor home improvement products and components—from concept through production working with aluminum, vinyl, and fasteners. Improve existing designs for better performance, easier manufacturing, and great appearance. Fabricate and assemble parts using hand and power tools, and operate shop equipment (drill presses, punch presses, etc.). Create and update 3D models, drawings, and prototypes. Collaborate with production, installation, sales, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life. Research materials, suppliers, and technologies to keep us ahead of the curve. Maintain safe, clean work areas and uphold Craft‑Bilt’s high quality standards. Occasionally travel to dealer sites or training seminars. What We’re Looking For Experience in product design, fabrication, carpentry, or related trades. Strong mechanical and design aptitude with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. Comfortable using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar) and hand/power tools. Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (especially aluminum, vinyl, and fasteners). A creative problem‑solver who thrives on turning ideas into real, functional products. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
