Job Description — B2B Apparel Sales Representative (Entry Level)

Location: Hackensack, NJ (On-site)Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in New Jersey, our client is a leading B2B wholesale apparel company specializing in men's high fashion. For over two decades, the company has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality sweaters, walking suits, knit sets, jackets, and sportswear featuring bold, distinctive designs. Our client's product portfolio is composed of approximately 90% men's fashion and 10% women's fashion, with distribution reaching major national retailers. Their largest account, Men's Wearhouse, represents over 50% of total sales. The company also holds a sportswear licensing agreement with the iconic Stacy Adams brand. All fulfillment and distribution operations are managed from their New Jersey facility.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level B2B Apparel Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is an office-based role that offers a hands-on introduction to the wholesale fashion industry. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of daily responsibilities, from account coordination and order processing to trade show representation.

Key Responsibilities

The B2B Apparel Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team to support day-to-day wholesale operations. Core responsibilities include managing and following up on wholesale accounts, processing and tracking customer orders, and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Excel. The representative will also be responsible for preparing sales presentations and product lookbooks using Microsoft PowerPoint for client meetings and trade show purposes.

A key component of this role involves traveling to and representing the company at major apparel trade shows. The representative will attend Atlanta-based trade shows approximately four times per year and Las Vegas trade shows approximately twice per year. In addition, the role requires regular coordination with the New Jersey distribution center to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for all wholesale clients.

Qualifications

Experience: Entry level — no prior experience required

Education: No specific degree required

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office

Transportation: Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for daily commute to Hackensack, NJ

Language: English proficiency required; Korean is a plus

Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to communicate clearly

Industry Interest: Background or interest in fashion, apparel, or wholesale is a plus but not required
