• License/Certifications: WV State License, DEA, CSRs, and required procedures (EKG, TEE, Nuclear Stress Tests)
• Experience: At least 2 years in cardiology practice

What You'll Do:

• Provide evaluation and management of both new and established patients in cardiology
• Perform and supervise advanced cardiology diagnostics including EKGs, holter monitors, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and pacemaker checks
• Conduct cardiac risk assessments and patient education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary support staff, including Techs and RNs
• Manage approximately 22-24 patient encounters per day, with procedures aligned with specialty expertise
• Work in a fast-paced, supportive environment with minimal night-time calls when on hospital call
• Document thoroughly within the electronic medical record system

What You Need:

• Current WV State Medical License
• Board Certification in Cardiology (preferred) or significant cardiology experience
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in cardiology
• Proficiency with EKGs, TEE, and nuclear stress testing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid DEA for prescribing medications

Preferred:

• Experience with EMR systems
• Ability to perform and interpret specialized cardiac procedures
