Position: RN Nurse Supervisor (Contract to Perm)
Location: NY 14527
Pay: $1,824 – $2,049/week

Contract Duration:

• 05/19/2026 – 08/22/2026 (13 weeks )

Schedule:

• Full-Time Nights

• 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Every Other Weekend (EOW) required

• Holidays required as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing units and staff under DON direction

• Ensure quality resident care through staff teaching, oversight, and clinical leadership

• Manage unit operations and make clinical/administrative decisions on off-shifts/weekends

• Identify, communicate, and resolve unit issues with leadership team

• Coordinate care with medical staff, departments, and ancillary services

• Promote safety, dignity, and quality care per facility standards

• Ensure compliance with NYSDOH regulations and facility policies

• Maintain documentation and communication of unit status and issues

Requirements

• Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)

• BLS Certification ( AHA or RQI only )

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in long-term care

• Supervisory experience across multiple units preferred

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)

• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Computer literacy required

• Ability to work in environment with exposure to blood/body fluids
