Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cardiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work full-time 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts /n• No holiday requirements /n• Collaborate in a team environment to coordinate patient care in the Cardiology Clinic for multiple areas (Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib Clinic and Testing Center) /n• Provide pre and post-operative education for Cardiology and EP procedures /n• Educate patients about cardiovascular conditions and treatment options /n• Triage patients' physical symptoms and arrhythmias appropriately /n• Cover RN Testing Center and Cardiac PET CT Imaging procedures when needed /n• Participate in Transition of Care Management for discharge medications and instructions /n• Review daily lab/test results, physician tasks and clinical worklist assignments /n• BSN degree highly preferred /n• Minimum of two years cardiovascular clinic experience and/or hospital nursing experience required /n• Two years experience in critical care or cardiac inpatient unit preferred /n• Two years experience with telemetry monitoring preferred /n• Current California RN license required /n• Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications /n• All required immunizations including MMR, flu, and COVID-19 vaccine + booster required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical network of clinics spanning multiple medical specialties throughout the region.
