Accounts Receivable Specialist
North Phoenix, AZ (Onsite) $58k to $65k DOE + bonus potential upon conversion Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
We are partnering with a construction company in North Phoenix to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a full cycle A/R role supporting B2B customers, with a strong emphasis on lien waivers, reconciliations, and partnering cross functionally to keep the billing and cash flow process running smoothly. This is not a collections only position and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full A/R process.
What you will be doing
- Manage full cycle accounts receivable for B2B accounts including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations
- Prepare, track, and process lien waivers, ensuring compliance and timely documentation
- Generate and review invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances as needed
- Research and resolve discrepancies including short pays, deductions, and billing issues
- Apply payments and maintain accurate account records
- Partner with internal teams including project managers and accounting to support billing accuracy
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding account status and documentation
What we are looking for
- 4+ years of recent accounts receivable experience in a B2B environment
- Hands on experience with lien waivers is required
- Strong understanding of full cycle A/R processes, not just collections
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience with account reconciliations, aging, and discrepancy resolution
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
