Travelers will be required to float to the below units as well as anywhere in the hospital there are MedSurg patients, including ER Holding/Boarding.MS1 General Medical SurgicalOncology: will not have to give chemo, but will care for oncology patients and patients receiving chemoDo have some pediatric patients on the floor (> 1 yr. old). No peds experience required, will not take peds patients.Surgical: gallbladder, appendectomies, colectomies, ostomies, TURPsGeneral Medical: Cellulitis, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, etc. Outpatient infusions(abx/fluids)MS2 Ortho/NeuroObservation: chest pain, dizziness, syncopeOrtho: total hips, total knees, shoulders.Neuro: spine surgeries, strokes, altered mental status, TIA vs. stroke obsMS2 CardiacCardiac post-procedure: cath, TEE, cardioversion.
