Assistant General Manager-Tradeshows/Events-Las Vegas

Edlen is hiring an Assistant General Manager for our –Las Vegas Market. We’re looking for an experienced leader from the Events/Hospitality industry who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can support large‑scale trade shows, conventions, and complex productions. As AGM, you’ll partner with the General Manager to oversee event operations, manage contract execution, lead and mentor the Event Services team, and maintain strong relationships with facilities, partners, and clients. Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services What You’ll Do Support planning, job assignments, and event costing Oversee complex estimates, production schedules, floor plans, and contract execution Lead onsite audits and ensure operational accuracy Assist exhibitors and show management with utility planning Represent Edlen at planning meetings and site visits Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor team members Support electrical team coordination and labor planning Reinforce safety standards and manage incident reporting What You Bring 5+ years in events, production, or convention services Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event‑related systems Role Details Full‑time, exempt Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Travel required; reliable transportation needed Work occurs in offices, convention centers, hotels, and fairgrounds Compensation Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
