Job Summary At NexCore, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for driving financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts, regulatory reporting, and corporate accounting, with a proven ability to forecast and analyze financial data effectively.

NexCore is a private equity backed division of building services providers with over 15 locations and continued exponential growth underway.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements to senior management.
• Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with SOX regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee regulatory reporting processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives and sales strategies.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring the financial health of the organization or assigned units or functions and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Reviews past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develops models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
• Recommend strategies meant to assist the organization in meeting its long-term financial objectives.
• Manage the preparation of financial reports that align with corporate accounting standards.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proficient in forecasting techniques and financial modeling.
• In-depth understanding of financial concepts, including account analysis and sales metrics.
• Experience in preparing accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data interpretation.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members in financial analysis best practices.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
• Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
• Additionally, 6 years or more of FP&A relevant work experience

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
