Job Summary and Qualifications

The Polysomnography Technician specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from sleep disorders. They're sometimes called sleep technicians. They read and follow medical orders to run various sleep studies. Join us and become part of a team committed to providing compassionate, efficient, quality, patient-focused healthcare at all times.

What you will do in this role:

• Under general direction of the Supervisor, performs patient care after receiving general instruction.
• Responsible for polysomnographic testing and scoring polysomnographic records.
• Other responsibilities include patient hookup, equipment calibration, responding to patients' needs, troubleshooting equipment; may also include performing clerical duties such as scheduling and pulling patient records.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy or EEG school preferred.
• RPSGT, RRT or REEGT required.
• Certification in CPR required.
• Prior experience in polysomnographic technology preferred.
