As a Security Officer Access Control in Lewisberry, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document visitor and vendor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility, yard, and/or loading areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, including warehouse, dock, trailer, parking, and exterior areas, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, screening incoming and outgoing traffic as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
