Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will focus on recovery and coverage matters representing policyholders. Duties Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions in state and federal court. Conduct discovery, including depositions and drafting/arguing discovery motions. Manage multiple, time-sensitive projects efficiently. Collaborate effectively as part of a team. Take ownership of significant projects. Requirements 3-7 years of litigation experience. Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility to apply. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications DC Bar admission or eligibility. Skills Strong drafting and litigation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects. Teamwork and leadership capabilities.
