Job Title: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Profession: RN Specialty: SICU Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
