About the Role
Hello Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K12 school setting in Thornton this role youll support students social-emotional well-being family engagement and access to learning through counseling crisis support and collaboration with school teams. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians!

What Youll Do
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
- Support crisis intervention de-escalation and safety planning as needed
- Participate in IEP MTSS and student support team meetings
- Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers families and related service providers
- Support attendance engagement and wraparound services for students and families
- Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Maintain timely accurate and compliant documentation
- Connect families to community resources and supports
What Were Looking For
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
- Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement or eligibility by start date
- Strong communication collaboration and crisis response skills
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Passion for supporting students mental health and well-being
