Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Cedar Point, NC location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and manage patient information. The role operates Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm, with opportunities for quarterly performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and travel to additional collection sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Minimum six months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
