Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center PACU Charlotte, NC, United States Job Details Department: 37710 Carolinas Medical Center - PACU Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours per week: 30 Schedule: 30 hr/week shift starts 11 am or 12 pm Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 Location and Facility Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health, distinguished throughout the Southern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the region’s only Level 1 trauma center and is an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. It is also a Magnet‑designated facility and one of North Carolina’s five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serving as a satellite for the medical school at UNC‑Chapel Hill. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS and PALS strongly preferred At least one year of previous critical care, emergency department or PACU experience strongly preferred Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and clear communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
