Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery

Shift: 8-hour day shifts (06:00–14:30 and 07:30–16:00)

Contract Length: Until 11/25/2026

Requirements:

• 2 years clinical experience required
• Required certifications: ALS, BLS, PALS
• Key clinical skills: IV start/maintenance, pre/post-op care, malignant hyperthermia protocol, pain assessment/management

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory surgery setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform pre/post-operative assessments and provide discharge instructions.
• Obtain operative and procedural consent from patients.
• Implement protocols for malignant hyperthermia and pain management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required.
