About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Category Management for Cloud. This senior sourcing lead will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across cloud, AI, and infrastructure categories. The role involves leading commercial negotiations with major technology providers, managing cloud cost optimization initiatives, and structuring enterprise agreements. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, monitoring market trends, and providing guidance on cloud and AI sourcing decisions. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or category management, with a proven track record in negotiating cloud agreements with major hyperscalers. A background in cloud economics, FinOps, and consumption-based pricing is essential, as is experience in managing large technology spend portfolios. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence technical and business leaders, and a collaborative approach to partnering with procurement, engineering, and finance teams. The Head of Category Management will play a critical role in the company's technology investments, with a focus on strategic decision-making and significant influence on supplier and category strategy.
