Job Description\n Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Hyannis, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CVICU\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Position ID:RN - ICU/CVICU Float (1194822)\n The Coronary Care Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. The Registered Nurse responds to codes and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital. The Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the intensive care/coronary care setting.\n \n \n Minimum Requirements:\n \n \n RN License in state which the nurse will be practicing\n Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills\n 2 years of cardiac care experience preferred\n ACLS may be required per state/client contract\n Current CPR if applicable\n TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable\n Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)\n Must meet all federal, state and local requirements\n Must be at least 18 years of age\n Primarily ICU, but will float to CVICU\n Potential to float to Med/Surg Tele units in the event there is an operational need and low census.\n 2+ years of recent experience in CVICU and ICU required\n Ability to read, write and communicate in English Graduate of a School of Nursing \n (RN) - Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts\n (BLS) - Basic Life Support Certification required\n (ACLS) – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification\n \n \n RN - ICU/CVICU Float (1194822)About Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.\n \n Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has served our clients and communities by connecting people to the work that matters since 1988.
