JOB DESCRIPTION

A large CPG client of ours is looking for an associate scientist of raw materials. They will be responsible for performing and overseeing analytical testing to support GMP and non-GMP raw material qualification and release activities. This role will help with new raw material qualifications, evaluates and implements compendial, vendor, and internal test methods, develops and maintains raw material specifications, and investigates OOS, atypical, and non-conforming results. The individual will author and review GMP documentation, coordinate outsourced testing with contract laboratories and suppliers, provide expertise in wet chemistry testing, and collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Raw Material Qualification, and Pilot Plant teams to ensure timely material release while maintaining compliance with GMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements. They will be working heavily within wet chemistry and must have strong GC experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
