We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with strict adherence to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
• Licensure in Radiation Therapy Technology within the state of Maryland is required.
• Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• One year of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
