About You You’re a proven family law attorney with 5+ years of experience and a strong track record of managing complex family law matters. You’re an experienced case manager who can strategically manage a caseload, anticipate the needs of a case, and keep matters moving forward. You’re an exceptional litigation support with experience supporting an established lead attorney and preparing them for complex litigation and trial. You’re highly organized and proactive , able to anticipate what a lead attorney will need, stay ahead of deadlines, and ensure every detail of a case is thoroughly prepared. You’re skilled at navigating complex cases , with experience managing a high litigation caseload involving complex financial issues, high-conflict matters, and sophisticated family law issues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt as priorities shift, cases develop, and urgent issues arise. You’re detail-oriented and meticulous in your approach, with the ability to carefully manage the many details, deadlines, and moving pieces of complex cases. About the Job You’ll be responsible for: Strategically managing a high-volume caseload involving complex financial issues, high-conflict matters, and sophisticated family law issues. Thoroughly preparing an established lead attorney for litigation and trial, including organizing case materials, identifying key issues, preparing witnesses and exhibits, and ensuring all necessary details are addressed. Anticipating and supporting the needs of a lead attorney throughout the lifecycle of complex litigation, proactively identifying what is needed to keep cases moving forward. Carefully crafting important court filings and supporting documents, including pleadings, requests for orders, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and trial-related documents. Expertly researching statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other information necessary to support case strategy and prepare the lead attorney for litigation. Assiduously following up on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties to ensure matters stay on track. Proactively problem-solving throughout each case, identifying potential issues, developing solutions, and adapting quickly as litigation evolves. Collaborating closely with an established lead attorney and the broader team to ensure cases are thoroughly prepared and effectively managed. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a family law attorney Demonstrated experience supporting an established litigator and preparing a lead attorney for litigation and trial Experience managing a high litigation caseload, complex financial issues, complex family law matters, and high-conflict cases Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school This is a case management and litigation support role and does not require the attorney to independently litigate or regularly appear in court on behalf of clients.
