Human Resources GeneralistNavitus is seeking a hybrid Human Resources Generalist in the Madison area! This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week at our Madison WI office.The Human Resources Generalist provides front-line HR support to enterprise HR functions, assisting in the execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role supports associate engagement, onboarding, training, benefits, leave administration, and compliance with employment laws. The HR Generalist serves as a key contact for associate relations and supports daily HR operations under the guidance of HR leadership.The Human Resources Generalist will support the performance management process, assist leadership in disciplinary management and assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR policies/procedures including the associate handbook.ResponsibilitiesServe as primary contact for associate relations and HR inquiries. Act as liaison and advocate for both associate and manager concerns and questions by providing timely and accurate information within established practice, policies, and procedures.Administer leave of absence programs including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in compliance with all federal and state requirementsSupport aspects of new hire onboarding including verification of employment forms and assist with enrollment questions as neededMaintain secure and current associate records and ensure compliance following all federal and state regulations and FMLA and ADA compliance requirementsLead performance management and disciplinary actions. Partner with Sr. HR Generalist and Sr Manager for guidance, as neededContribute to HR initiatives and promote associate engagementParticipate in open enrollment and HR audits, as neededSupport policy updates and associate handbook maintenanceManage HR special projects in support of HR initiatives and process improvementParticipate in process improvement activities and work in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience, requiredSHRM-CP or PHR is preferred2+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Generalist role, demonstrating broad experience across key HR functions requiredExperience resolving workplace conflicts and performance management issues, while coaching leaders and cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment requiredExperience managing conflicts and fostering a positive work environment preferredExperience in managing leave of absence programs and administering ADA accommodations, with an understanding of compliance requirements and associate support best practices preferredParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Navitus?Top of the industry benefits for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance20 days paid time off4 weeks paid parental leave9 paid holidays401K company match of up to 5% - No vesting requirementAdoption Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountEducational Assistance Plan and Professional Membership assistanceReferral Bonus Program – up to $750!Navitus Health Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
