Our civil and structural engineers, environmental specialists, and support professionals provide innovative and quality transportation solutions for our state, turnpike, municipal and private clients. We have transportation design teams in Jacksonville, FL; Oklahoma City, OK; and Tulsa, OK. Now, we are looking to expand our services by establishing a transportation practice in Missouri. Haskell's St. Louis office was founded in 1982 to support full-service architectural, engineering, and design-build activities. This may be a new venture but our roots run deep. Lead all MoDOT projects for Haskell Gain more exposure to business development Key role in growing and mentoring the team Work alongside a director with 30+ years of MoDOT experience Your responsibilities will include: Developing design budget, fees, and scopes with input from the project design team Managing the design and production of transportation plans while assuring conformance to design document standards and criteria Construction support Coordinating subconsultants Client management and primary client interface Developing potential future work opportunities To thrive in this role you will need: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering 10+ years of transportation design experience Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Experience with geometric design, drainage design, construction sequencing and utility relocation coordination Communications, negotiations, management, and leadership skills Knowledge and experience in design project management including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, proposal writing, staffing, coordination, forecasting, conflict resolution, and change management At Haskell, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and more. Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
