Responsibilities Develop proposals and scopes of work for geotechnical investigations Maintain and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients Manage geotechnical projects from initial proposal through final report delivery Coordinate drilling programs and oversee subcontracted field exploration activities Review subsurface data and determine appropriate laboratory testing programs Performgeotechnical analyses and design, including: Settlement analyses Bearing capacity evaluations Shallow foundation recommendations Drilled pier design and calculations Pavement design Grading recommendations Retaining wall foundation design and stability evaluations Seismic reviews and design calculations Review laboratory testing results and interpret findings Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and recommendations Assist with project management, budgeting, and invoicing Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, developers, and public-sector stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline Master's degree preferred PE license required or ability to quickly obtain PE licensure in both Missouri and Illinois Strong experience in geotechnical consulting and engineering design Experience preparing technical reports and recommendations Proven client-facing communication and relationship-building skills Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Business development experience is highly desirable Why Join?
