Human Resources Coordinator

Our client is an organization that helps foreign investors gain U.S. permanent residency by structuring projects under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. The Human Resources Coordinator will support recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, HR systems, and record-keeping to ensure smooth HR operations. This is a hybrid position, full time, based in Bethesda, MD, with a pay range of$24.00 to $30.00per hour, Responsibilities Supports recruiting activities such as posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining accurate applicant tracking system records Coordinates and ensures effective new hire orientation and onboarding activities Supports employee offboarding, including documentation, exit interviews, system updates, and benefits coordination Supports the department's culture and employee engagement efforts Maintains accurate employee records and processes employee transactions in HR systems and benefits platforms Assists with benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, employee communications, invoice review, and open enrollment Responds to routine employee questions and escalates issues as needed Supports employee engagement, recognition, culture, and internal communication initiatives Assists with HR reporting, audits, compliance activities, and process documentation Safeguards confidential information and exercises discretion Provides occasional office coverage when needed Participates in initiatives to support employees and performs related HR duties as required Required qualification Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, preferably in human resources or social sciences 2 years of prior workplace experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite Willingness to learn new systems and programs Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment law Preferred qualification Prior experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms Experience in a hybrid work environment Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices What We Offer 401K retirement plan Medical and dental benefits for qualifying professionals or Fixed Indemnity Health Benefits Flex spending account Pet Insurance Credit Union Membership Sick Leave available where mandated by law Worker Advantage discount program membership Voluntary Supplemental Insurance Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Employment Enterprises, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
