Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Service Technician role based in Houston TX area. The Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair semiconductor equipment at customer sites and ensuring machines are operating safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing components, and documenting all service activities and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex technical problems. The Service Technician will interact directly with customers to explain findings, train users on basic operation and care, and help ensure minimal equipment downtime and high customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for complex electromechanical or semiconductor equipment. Proficient Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control‑system issues. Field Service experience, including on‑site visits, equipment startup, and system commissioning. Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build productive relationships. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals. Comfort working in cleanroom or manufacturing environments and following safety protocols. Ability to lift and move equipment components as required and use standard hand and power tools safely. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred. 1–3+ years in equipment service, industrial maintenance, or a related technical role; semiconductor experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
