General Accountant

Title: General Accountant

Location: Louisville, KY (2-days remote, 3-days onsite Hybrid Schedule)

Note: This is a W2 contract position – C2C & 3 rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered

The General Accountant will manage intercompany accounting activities related to mobility payroll, tax equalization (TEQ), EID payments and stock-based compensation, and oversees intercompany billing and cash settlement processes for designated markets. They will;

· Maintain intercompany reconciliation process for various brands/markets; provide intercompany invoices to markets and research/coordinate with markets and related Shared Service Centers

· Prepare and record intercompany billing and FX related entries as needed for responsible markets

· Manage EID & stock-based compensation reporting, repeaters, and cross-charges to markets

· Prepare and record Expat Payroll entries to charge markets

· Prepare cash wires to settle intercompany balances with field markets, as needed

· Coordinate with Payroll and E&Y to prepare/record TEQ and tax gross-up entries to charge markets

Position Qualifications:

· Strong prior Accounting industry experience

· Knowledge of General Ledger and Account Reconciliation processes

· Strong adv. MS Excel skills (VLookUp, formulas/functions, etc.)

· Strong attention-to-detail, ability to work independently while remote, and interpersonal communication skills

· A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, and/or relevant industry certifications preferred
