Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Structural Welder in a manufacturing company near Katy. You will be responsible for welding small to large skid units using 1G-4G with MIG and flux core processes on carbon and stainless steel. Your role includes reading and interpreting blueprints and making necessary adjustments to the welding machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on small to large skid units using MIG and flux core processes.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Adjust welding machines as needed to ensure quality and precision.

• Work with carbon and stainless steel materials.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in structural welding.

• At least 4 years' experience with MIG/Flux core welding processes.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structural fitting.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fast-paced production shop without air conditioning, where you will join a team of 30 employees in the fabrication bay. The night shift runs from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with potential for overtime based on production needs. Shifts are scheduled for 10 to 12 hours, five days a week, with optional Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookshire, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
