Professional Counselor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or LPC, LMHC-A, LCSW, to join our team in Illinois. As a LCPC or LPC , you will provide mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, helping them navigate through life's challenges and improve their overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, mental, and behavioral health Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions Address a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, relationship problems, and self-esteem issues Teach clients coping skills and strategies to manage stress, improve communication, and enhance their overall functioning Monitor clients' progress during counseling sessions and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of mental health counseling through continuing education and professional development activities Requirements Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCPC, LPC, LCSW,) in the state of Illinois Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups Strong knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from diverse backgrounds Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology for documentation and communication purposes If you are a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or LMHC-A, LCSW, LSW, committed to helping individuals achieve personal growth and improved mental health, we would love to hear from you.
