Senior Accountant / remote

Overview We are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing the company's accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can operate independently, identify issues, and proactively drive solutions. Key Responsibilities Own month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Analyze financial results and investigate variances Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting Support external audits and compliance requirements Manage fixed assets, accruals, and other accounting functions as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives Qualifications Experience with month-end and year-end close processes and general ledger management (hands-on, independent operator) Proactive problem-solving and ability to drive solutions Benefits and Equal Opportunity Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
