We are looking for a detailed-oriented Patient Financial Representative to manage the patient billing and insurance lifecycle. In this role, you will secure accurate revenue by confirming insurance data up front and compassionately partnering with patients to resolve outstanding balances. The ideal candidate balances sharp administrative accuracy with top-tier customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Insurance Verification: Confirm patient eligibility, benefits, and authorization details prior to or during billing cycles.
• Data Maintenance: Update and correct complex patient demographic and insurance provider information in the system.
• Patient Support: Field inbound calls and resolve inquiries regarding complex bills, coverage disputes, and balances.
• Collections Management: Manage the full collection cycle by contacting patients with overdue accounts and establishing structured payment plans.

✅ Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare collections experience required.
• Knowledge: Deep familiarity with medical terminology, payer portals, and insurance claim guidelines.
• Skills: Excellent verbal communication, assertive but empathetic phone manners, and sharp data-entry speed.
• Ability: to cross train at front desk.
