Benefits Specialist

A Benefit Specialist contributes to AHF by contributing to AHF's mission by providing interactive face-to-face interviews with clients to determine eligibility for public and/or private financial and/or health insurance programs. A Benefit Specialist enhances the reputation of AHF by helping navigate a patient through the may public assistant programs and private insurance in a helpful manner. A Benefits Specialist also assists clients in the completion of benefit applications and makes appropriate referrals for any and all county, state, and/or federal programs. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as a Benefits Specialist it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.
