Patient Care TechnicianSentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, on the Cardiac / Medicine Unit 4D.Hours/Shift:Part-time, nightshift, approximately 7pm to 7amDepartment/Position Overview:Join our upbeat and fun team on the 4D Unit! Our primary patient population is cardiac patients with a few medicine patients. The patient ratio is generally 1 Patient Care Technician to 8-12 patients. We look forward to hiring a candidate that is looking for a work family and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.Patient Care Technicians are unlicensed staff members who are accountable to, and work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care. Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse.
