About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director, Chief of Staff to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in serving as a strategic partner and operational leader, ensuring the execution of the highest priorities within the Communications organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the CCO to translate enterprise strategy into actionable communication priorities, drive alignment across key functions, and maintain operational excellence in a complex, matrixed environment. Responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor, leading high-priority cross-functional initiatives, and supporting the CCO in managing the organization's rhythm of business. The ideal candidate will have a background in communications, with a strong understanding of the discipline, and a proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. Candidates for this role at the company should have 8-12+ years of experience in communications, corporate strategy, operations, or management consulting. A background in communications, such as internal, external, executive, or public affairs, is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to support senior executives in a Chief of Staff, strategy, or operations capacity. The role requires a professional with strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and executive presence. The candidate should be a self-starter with a high level of attention to detail, capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. A combination of communications experience and business education, or equivalent strategic/quantitative training, is preferred, along with experience in highly matrixed, enterprise environments and a track record of applying data and business insights to drive decision-making.
