Key Personnel is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join a busy Women’s Health Clinic in the Tulsa, OK area.
Patient Care Coordinator Schedule: Rotating schedule Monday to Friday either from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 7:45am to 4:45pm. Must be OK with start time changing from week to week.
Patient Care Coordinator Payrate: $18/hr
Patient Care Coordinator Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator performs all functions necessary to facilitate a positive experience for callers with minimal supervision keeping the needs of customers the highest priority.
Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming calls in a timely manner.
· Monitor messages on appointment voice mailbox and return calls in a timely manner.
· Schedule appointments following practice guidelines.
· Enter data into patient accounts accurately and completely, paying particular attention to details concerning spelling of names and entry of any numerical data.
· Transfer calls to appropriate practice personnel as required.
· Contact patients to reschedule appointments in cases of provider conflicts as directed.
· Provide immediate communication with appropriate clinical staff and/or providers in cases of patient emergencies.
· Notifies Administrator immediately when problems with the phone system are apparent – most noticeable by an absence of calls coming into the call center.
· Respond to all caller questions & concerns in a polite and professional manner.
· Always follow the principles of excellent customer service.
· Adhere to all practice policies and procedures.
· Completes other assignments as instructed.
· Follow guidelines for all aspects of HIPAA/Compliance/Employee Handbook.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Assist other areas as directed.
Patient Care Coordinator Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior experience in medical appointment scheduling required
· Must be able to communication effectively and tactfully with patients and other employees
· Professional phone skills and the ability to answer telephones in a courteous, professional manner
· Must have basic typing skills. Previous experience scheduling within EMR system required.
· Previous experience in a OBGYN medical office environment OR using EClinicalWorks EMR software required.
